My friend John is a musician living in Accra, Ghana. Last night his house burned down and he lost his home and everything he owned. He was injured trying to save what he could of his possessions. He is now homeless without any money at all. He had been giving shelter to several others, including a seventeen year old girl who had just given birth. She and the baby lost everything, too.

They desperately need funds for bare survival. If possible, with enough money, John can rebuild and even help some of the others in the community who lost their homes in the fire, too. But for now John just needs to be able to survive.
