Baby Girl Update 9/5/26

A little bit of happiness Last month was a challenging time at P9. We have had to deal with personal issues as well as so many people coming to us asking for our help that we have simply not been able to help most of them. We have tried to do what we can for those in the greatest need, but we had to turn many away. This is not what we want to do, it is against everything we stand for, but there is only so much we can do with the funds available to us each month.
So it was a hard month and a sad one. But it ended with happiness, like a candle lit suddenly on the darkest of nights. Last week Ada, one of the ladies who came to us asking for help, gave birth to a little baby girl. They are already home from the hospital. They need absolutely everything a mother with a newborn baby needs, but at least the child was born with no complications and baby and mother are doing well.
We are delighted that this little person has decided to join our small P9 community and we will do our best to make certain that she gets the best start in life we can give her. Her birth has made even the worst of times just a little bit better.
