Immanuel's Checkup
We have news about Immanuel, the little baby boy born to Happiness back in February. Last week he was scheduled to come into the hospital for his weighing and a general checkup. As we have described in earlier postings, the little guy has had some health scares in the first six months of his life, and we were worried what the doctors might say. There are some issues they are concerned about, but they suggested we keep an eye on him and bring him in in another 30 days to see how he is doing.
Happiness, the little boy's mother, had no prenatal healthcare and didn't always have enough food to eat when she was pregnant. Immanuel was born with two strikes against him and even now it's hard to make sure that he has everything he needs to get along in life. It's a real challenge for a baby when your mother is struggling simply to survive.
