John Update Update 3/28/26

Update on John's health

As we said in our last update John in Ghana is suffering a serious, life-

threatening health crisis. He has a hernia that has sometimes been obstructing his

bowels. This has been causing all sorts of health problems, as one can imagine.

Thanks to a very kind and generous donor, John now has the funds to go to the

hospital. He is slated to talk with the doctors tomorrow.

Obviously, we ourselves are not doctors and neither is John, so our understanding is

based on what he has told us of what he himself understands. Apparently there is

some risk in having an operation and it is possible his condition can be controlled

(though not healed) through nonsurgical means. It seems there are no options that

do not carry some risks and disadvantages.

John is going to find out what the doctors recommend and then he will at least know

where he stands.

We hope for the best for him. John has been suffering greatly and hopefully the

doctors will be able to ease his pain.
