Yakuba Needs a Place to Stay
We have been slow in keeping everyone updated on events in Ghana because of John's continuing illness and some issues of our own, but people continue to be in need, and we are doing what we can for them.
Most recently we have managed to help Yakuba, an older gentleman in Accra who lost his leg when he was in his early 60s and was immediately thrown out of his home by his family. Yakuba has been reduced to begging to survive. He has absolutely nothing but he has not asked for much, simply help to pay rent for a room so that he doesn't have to sleep on the street. Yakuba is an old man and he should not be without a roof over his head.
There is always need and many are struggling to survive but we are doing what we can. At least for now an old man will have a place to stay.
