Happiness' Baby is in Hospital

Challenging times in Ghana. The month old baby of Happiness has been taken to the

hospital. Apparently, he was injured while being bathed by his mother. We do not

know the severity or extent of the injuries but we are doing what we can to make

sure he receives whatever medical treatment he needs.

Before condemning Happiness as careless or indifferent, please keep in mind that

these are extremely poor people and they simply do not have the resources to be as

careful and tender with a newborn as one would wish. They live in very difficult

circumstances and that sometimes makes accidents much more likely than they would

otherwise be.

We are very concerned and we will post more on the little baby's condition as soon

as we know more.
