Hard Times Update 7/7/25

Hard Time in Ghana

The last month has been a very difficult time for our friends in Ghana. In the

midst of a very challenging rainy season they have had to deal with their own

individual problems. Remembering that these are very poor people, when any one

thing goes wrong in their lives it creates other problems that then feed on each

other to the point that their entire existence becomes at risk. Because our

resources are limited even under normal circumstances there is only so much we can

to help, so many of our friends have been left to try to cope entirely on their

own.

It is always bad when anyone suffers but it is especially bad to see so many of our

little children having such a hard time. As well as the usual struggle for food

every day, many of them are now homeless with no place to stay. At least right now

they are all with at least one parent but that is small comfort when the parents

themselves are struggling to survive day by day.

The goal for this month is to help everyone to at least stabilize their situation

so that they can survive. And we will work on the Nanny House that John has begun

so that the children and others will have a place to stay and at least one meal a

day. But for now, survival comes first.
