Rains in Ghana

A quick update on the situation in Ghana- seasonal rains in Ghana have been very

heavy and destructive this month and many of the people we know there are suffering

as a result. They have little shelter and few possessions, and the rains have been

damaging much of what they do own.

Our friend John has been working to make his house more waterproof, for himself and

for the others he has been helping. His funds are limited but he has managed to at

least improve the situation there.

The house John is intending to repair so that it can be the Nanny House for the

children is safe but because of the rains he has been unable to do any work on it.

As was said earlier, the school Anabel has been attending was flooded and they sent

the students home. Anabel is safe and the latest information we have now is that

the school will reopen on Monday.

Many of our other friends in Ghana are having a very hard time.
